Modern Slavery Statement

At WIDDOP and Co, our passion for ensuring an ethical work environment and supply chain is unwavering, and we will not compromise our moral obligation to work towards an end to modern slavery.

In April 2018, we joined the Slave Free Alliance as founding members. We had a Modern Slavery Threat Assessment carried out on our premises in November 2018 and are deemed as low risk, however we continue to monitor our performance to ensure this status does not change.

We are committed to working with and supporting the Hope For Justice campaign, in order to end slavery and to change lives. Hope for Justice work to end modern slavery by preventing the exploitation of workers, rescuing those who have fallen victim to modern slavery and helping them to rebuild their lives, and by reforming society. The hope is that one day modern slavery will truly cease to exist.

The Hope for Justice campaign hopes to reduce the cases of modern slavery through education and spreading awareness. By teaching everyday people and their businesses the recognisable signs of slavery, they hope to increase the quantity of reports they receive.
